hen I asked Tom Darcy of IBM to review my book, Addicted Customers, I knew I was getting someone who was no stranger to customer-centric thinking. Moreover, he is someone who understands the challenges of overcoming “old think” to get innovating ideas into action. I have it from good authority that Tom was instrumental in making the highly successful 1 to 1 program at Whirlpool happen. This was when 1 to 1 programs were an idea and digital printing was an infant.
