It is interesting how the word spreads. Out of the blue I got a request from the editor of the UK magazine Customer Management to write an article about my forthcoming book. This was a pleasant surprise. First, it was unsolicited. Second, I haven’t done any business in the UK for some time.
My belief is that word-of-mouth travels most rapidly and with the most impact to recipients who tune-in to the topic. I have suspected for sometime that businesses in the UK are at least a half a step ahead of the USA in thinking and acting from the customers’ perspective.
