If customers don’t understand your product and how to get the most out of it, they devalue it worth.

This is the gist of Theory of Asymmetrical Information that won George Alerlof, Michael Spence and Joseph Stiglitz a Nobel Prize in Economics in 2001.

Earlier this week I signed up with PRWeb, the online Press Release Newswire. Since Public Relations and On-line Marketing are areas that I only dabble, I wasn’t sure that this would be worth my while.

The people at PRWeb were either reading my mind or realized that there would be a lot of people who wouldn’t understand the full potential of their offering. As soon as I registered, I was encouraged to sign-up for a free, one-hour webinar to learn how I could maximize my benefits.

PRWeb offers these webinars everyday. The one I attended only had six participants, which allowed for a lot of discussion and personal attention. This was a live person working almost one-on-one with customers who had not yet spent a nickel with their company.

The upshot—I can see clearly how my company will benefit and am motivated to use them frequently. An expert I’m not, but I sure know enough to see the value and understand how to get involved.

   Kudos to PRWeb!
